Recoveris leaders present systematic intelligence frameworks to Polish Parliament crypto commission

Our CEO Marcin Zarakowski and Head of Product Roman Bieda addressed the Polish Parliamentary Commission for Crypto Assets and Blockchain Technology, delivering a presentation on how Poland could systematically combat cryptocurrency fraud.

Last week, our CEO Marcin Zarakowski and Head of Product Roman Bieda addressed the Polish Parliamentary Commission for Crypto Assets and Blockchain Technology, delivering a presentation on how Poland could systematically combat cryptocurrency fraud. They shared operational methodologies for cryptocurrency crime investigation and recovery with Polish legislators and law enforcement.

Our daily work exposes us to dozens of victims across multiple jurisdictions. This operational experience, combined with many of our team members’ roles as OSCE experts training law enforcement in various countries, provides clear visibility into what investigative approaches deliver results and where systematic gaps exist.

Key Discussion Areas

Scaling investigative capabilities: Organized crime networks targeting crypto assets operate with sophisticated AI-driven technology stacks. Traditional approaches centered solely on building larger specialist teams cannot match this operational tempo. Technology-based solutions that amplify existing expertise become essential.

Cross-border intelligence coordination: We examined specific cases where parallel investigations proceeded independently for months before coordination occurred. Enhanced cross-checking mechanisms, particularly those incorporating blockchain clustering analysis, can prevent such inefficiencies.

Operational procedures beyond tools: Technical capability with forensic software differs fundamentally from understanding how to construct actionable intelligence and coordinate with relevant authorities. Comprehensive investigative protocols prove critical.

The constructive discussions with representatives from Ministerstwo Sprawiedliwości (Ministry of Justice), Prokuratura Krajowa (National Prosecutor’s Office), CBZC (Central Bureau for Combating Cybercrime), CBŚP (Central Investigation Bureau), and Komenda Główna Policji (National Police Headquarters) help identify where systematic improvements in methodology, technology deployment, and inter-agency coordination can enhance investigative outcomes.

Our mission extends beyond individual case work. We aim to facilitate knowledge transfer between jurisdictions, helping establish frameworks that enable law enforcement and legal professionals to respond effectively to evolving crypto crime vectors.

We’re grateful to MPs Adam Gomoła and Sławomir Ćwik for facilitating this essential exchange.
