We regularly receive heartbreaking messages from scam victims. People lose their life savings, are left without support, and then find that law enforcement either cannot or will not act, especially when the loss doesn’t reach “big case” thresholds (in some jurisdictions the threshold is as high as $1M).

Blockchain investigations are complex and time-consuming, but the real work begins after the findings are confirmed. That’s when we orchestrate a global recovery effort, working with international law enforcement, legal firms, and virtual asset service providers (VASPs).
If investigation is the science, then effective recovery is the art. Our success is measured by our ability to return compromised crypto and digital assets to its rightful owners.
Making Recovery More Accessible
The truth is, complex investigations are expensive. While we can’t take on every case, we intentionally raised our recent funding round to change that. We’re developing technology to reduce costs and allow many to be effective investigators and recover funds.
A Call to Action for Victims
In the meantime, we strongly encourage victims to be vocal: share your stories with media, push your local authorities, and engage public officials. The more voices are heard, the more pressure there is on law enforcement to strengthen their blockchain expertise and to start helping, not only in multi-million cases but also when life savings are at stake.
Until systemic change happens, cases that appear small to the judicial system will continue to slip through the cracks, even though for the victim the loss is often devastating. That misalignment is what must change.
